The Coyote Kings of the Space-Age Bachelor Pad is the story of bright young
people who had dreamed of adventure and glory, only to find they've lost
their way and their dreams in the world of mundane jobs, crummy pay and
the shocking absence of robots, dinosaurs and spaceships. Yet these same
young people, raised on a fortified diet of Tolkien, Herbert, Roddenberry,
Lucas, Stan Lee and Alan Moore find themselves sucked into a modern-day
quest-meets-conspiracy that may cost them their self-respect, their
sanity-and even their lives.

Hamza is a sarcastic, disillusioned young man, a dishwasher who was
kicked out of his Honours English degree at its final month over a stupid,
irreparable mistake. He may seem cynical, cranky, disaffected or even
heart-broken... but despite his stegosaurian plating, he wants to believe
again... in himself, in the world. He'd no more take the label "Generation X"
than would his technobrainiac room-mate, Yehat--instead they prefer
"Star Wars Generation." Despite feeling let down by fate, neither of these
self-proclaimed "Coyote Kings" realises the full extent of his
abilities-particularly Hamza, whose astonishing ability to find things will
